Discover The E Major Scale

The E major scale key good for finger picking on acoustic guitars because of the E(root), A(4th) and B(5th) strings being in the scale. This is a good scale for acoustic guitars. This scale has four sharps in it the F, C, G and D notes.

This scale is made from two tetra-chords from the A and the B scale.

The first E major scale tetrachord comes from the second A major scale tetrachord and the 2nd E major scale tetra-chord comes from the 1st B major scale tetra-chord.

These scales are made from each other and you will see the same chords in the E, A and B scales.
